Atlanta R&B/hip-hop star 6LACK (born Ricardo Valentine) released his LVRN/Interscope Records debut album FREE 6LACK after the explosion of his 2016 single “PRBLMS.” It may seem like he came out of nowhere, but the enigmatic, charismatic crooner has been working on his craft for quite some time. The Atlanta based singer/songwriter honed his skills as a rapper before learning how to sing. It took a few years, but he hit the ground running with his now-Platinum selling single “PRBLMS,” which introduced the world to his brand of R&B. His debut album FREE 6LACK has garnered critical acclaim and even a nomination for Best Urban Contemporary at the 2018 GRAMMY Awards, proving that good things do come to those who wait. His second studio album, East Atlanta Love Letter was released with notable features from J.Cole and Future.
