Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is a rapper, actor, and business mogul hailing from Queens, NY. After being discovered by Eminem in the early 2000s and signing to the Shady/Aftermath imprint of Interscope, 50 skyrocketed to success with his debut studio album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, which has gone 6x Platinum since its release and is widely revered as a modern classic. 50 has been a mainstay in hip-hop ever since. His hot streak continued through the mid-aughts with the huge success of his sophomore album The Massacre and the founding of G-Unit Records, which counts Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo among its signees, and afforded 50 another platform to help New York rap flourish. To date, 50 Cent has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. He has also appeared in over 20 movies and is a lead actor and executive producer on the popular television series Power.
